Erin Kennedy is a 200hr RYT certified instructor with a passion for bringing mindful movement to kids and families.
Erin found her way to the mat in early 2000 and through her practice found strength, confidence, and a new connection to self and soul. The healing she experienced on the mat led Erin to complete her teacher training and begin to share yoga in 2019.
Erin quickly learned that her passion was to bring awareness to kids and families through yoga, essential oil education, and the divine connection of Reiki. She loves empowering families to be their own healers through mindful movement and plant medicine.
Erin’s creative and encouraging approach to yoga allows for the entire family to participate together by allowing deep roots to grow for yogis of all ages in a safe, and fun environment.
Lindsay was lucky enough to spend her childhood living in Hong Kong before returning to her native England. Her love of Asia, travel, and different perspectives on life stem from this experience, and prepared her to fall in love with an American man for whom she would marry and settle in the United States.
Lindsay loves to go with the flow, dance with her breath, and to become a witness to her body and mind as she moves through poses, and finds stillness in meditation. Yoga is the tool she uses to seek balance and equanimity in her body, mind and soul, and she is passionate about sharing what she’s learned with others, so that everyone can move a little more gently and gracefully through their daily life.
Lindsay discovered yoga while at university in England. She quickly realized that she was a nicer, more joyous and energetic bartender at the club she served at, late into the night, if she’d attended a yoga class between lectures and work! Yoga has helped her body through two pregnancies, births and recoveries, and it has helped her nervous system through parenting two very different boys!
After teaching early childhood music in NJ and TX preschools, followed by Kindergarten in NC public schools for many years, Lindsay decided to follow her dream of becoming a yoga teacher. She received her RYT-200 Yoga Alliance certification after undergoing teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center. Lindsay is excited to continue her studies as she works towards further certifications this year. In addition to virtual classes, she currently teaches at local area studios.
Lindsay teaches what she practices: Vinyasa flows of all intensity levels: from gentle through Power sequences. She enjoys all forms of yoga, so each class is different, and incorporates ideas from different traditions and lineages that may be helpful to the flow of life.
Victoria Rivera discovered yoga in 2006 and soon after realized that coming to the mat daily was life changing. With a passion to share this knowledge, she completed her 200 hour Teacher Training program at Yoga Darshana in West Babylon, New York in 2015. On the quest to further her knowledge, she has trained under David Robson, owner and director of the Ashtanga Yoga Centre of Toronto, and Kino MacGregor, co-founder of Miami Life Center.
She leads a heart opening, meditative inspired class that combines her dynamic love of movement with the practice of yoga. Her classes are designed to gently guide students along their own ever evolving practice, and ultimately to find joy in every moment on and off the mat. Victoria believes that yoga is truly for everyone.
Victoria is excited about what this journey may bring and looking forward to exploring it with other practitioners, students, and teachers in the mountains of Asheville, NC. She is currently teaching with Yoga Group WNC.
