Mara Watts is a 250-Hour Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT) from Asheville, NC. She began practicing yoga in 2006, completing her training in 2014.
Mara is passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with all body types, flexibility levels and ages. Her goal is to create a safe, warm and welcoming space, offering accessible yoga for all. Mara enjoys teaching Gentle Yoga, Hatha Flow, and Therapeutic style classes.
Yoga class with Mara is fun, playful, creative and heartfelt! Mara loves and is passionate about yoga because it makes her feel good inside and out, and so naturally, she loves offering that to others on the yoga mat. Her hope is that her students step off of the mat feeling balanced and renewed.

I am so excited! I've missed the in-person community a yoga studio provides. So I am stepping my toe back in with in-person classes at YAM (Yoga and Massage). I will be offering Yummy Yin on Mondays & Wednesdays at 11:45am-1:00pm, and a Restorative & Yoga Nidra on Sundays at 4:00pm. YAM requires pre-registration via the MindBody app online and offers class passes and memberships to help you manage your budget.
